Why Am I Not Suprised

The rain is still falling outside and it looks really cold. It will be a nice day to stay inside and get caught up on some of the things I have been putting off. That was at 8:30 this morning. It is now 10:30 PM and all of the things on my list are still there and notthing has been checked off. What the hell did I do all day!!! I always try to blame it on something but today I will admit it I was just plain lazy. I was really hoping the weather guy was going to be wrong about all the rain in the forecast. But why am I not surprised. When you want them to be wrong they are right and when you want them to be right they are wrong. Man I wish I could find a job that I only had to be 50% accurate. And I love how they say a chance of rain or a chance of snow. No shit Shurlock Holmes it's freaking winter and we live in Iowa there is always a chance of snow. But not too much longer and it will be nice outside. Oh how I can already feel the hot sun. I am really excited for it to be nice out. I always start out the spring by planting new flowers and doing landscaping and by the end of July it looks like crap!!! I am not good at weeding anything. I could just use the excuse that I am trying a new experiment and see how many weeds I can get in my flower garden. I have said that to Galen a time or two and let me tell you he was not thrilled. We are building a shed this year so Galen can park his bike in there and we can get some of the clutter out of the yard. We are also pouring a bigger concrete slab in front of our house. It will be really great to have all my patio furniture actually on a patio instead of in the grass. I guess if I changed the name of the furniture to grass furniture than this would not be an issue! It is such a pain in the ass when we try to Mow and we have all these things to move. I will put up with anything at this point though as long as it gets nice soon!!!
